Sonnet

For my heart, a thousand miles away

whose eyes always shine and twinkle so bright.

Since my life is lit by their inner light,

he’s the one I wish to be with and lay.

My love is so far, and so I must pray

that we do not lose each other and fight.

We sit under the same moon at our nights,

so through the distance we will be okay.

The one who was my person from the start

will wait all of his life for us to meet.

We’ll be together I’m sure in my heart;
I will be there soon, I'll go on my feet.

Nothing in the world can keep love apart,

since no one could have our connection beat.
